As I have stated on multiple occasions, Yu-Gi-Oh!, DBZ and Pokémon were the big three Anime I grew up watching. With Netflix uploading all 5 seasons of the original anime, it had given me the opportunity to review one favorite shows as a kid. Either way to watch this content a valid subscription, and a stable internet connection, is required.IT’S TIME TO, make a review of Yu-Gi-Oh! But also, IT’S TIME TO DU-DU-DU-DUEL! Please keep in mind this review will contain spoilers for 20-year-old anime. It’s not uncommon for content to disappear once the license has expired, and then reappear when the licensed has been renewed but usually all of the content would appear rather than odd seasons. Synopsis: The lives of young Yugi Muto and his friends Joey, Tristan and Téa are forever changed when a fantasy card game becomes their reality.
It’s unclear when, or if, the remaining seasons will be added but at least some of it is back at least.
Today however the first (Duelist Kingdom) and third (Shadow Realm) seasons of the series are now back and available to stream. Those with a Netflix UK subscription and missed out on the original 4KIDS Entertainment version of the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series will be excited to know that the series has now returned to the subscription-based video-on-demand platform well in some form at least.Įarlier in the year all five seasons of Yu-Gi-Oh!, which are also available to stream on Amazon Instant Video as well as purchase on DVD from Manga Entertainment UK, were available to stream on Netflix UK, but were removed after being available for an extended period of time.
