It's just the cliche' BS dialogue that appears throughout games. There are also characters bsing, that you could basically write the dialogue in 5 minutes and still reach the same point in the plot the game devs wanted you to be at. Let's be honest while there was vital cutscenes you want to watch to understand the story.

I'd disagree with the main point of this, and a game that fits this scenario that comes to mind is FF XIII.

Again, how often do you watch a movie more than once, and watch it only in parts? I would assume not too often. I mean, hell, even when I beat a game, I'll rarely skip the cutscenes on my second time through. You're not going to get the full effect that the movie is supposed to have on you. That's like watching a movie for the first time and just skipping to every other chapter. Cutscenes glue together the pieces of the interactive part, but are still just as important in my opinion, as the rest of the presentation. I don't see what the hell the point in playing the game is, if you're going to just skip the cutscene. No matter how shitty the story is, I never skip the cutscenes.
