Each category allows you to instantly switch to the desired record mode and set it up. The main window contains four main categories (menu, screen recording, game recording, audio recording) and six main functions. On the other hand, the whole window is an advertisement - and to get rid of it, one has to purchase the full version of oCam. The nice side is that it is minimalist and straightforward, immediately displaying the capture window and the main panel, which houses all the program’s main functions. Interface is both pleasing and frustrating.

I just wanted to be able to record client interviews the same week without having to study.

Screenflow was very complicated to learn, and I wanted something that would be easy to pick up. When I switched from my mac to a PC last year I needed screen recording software to replace Screenflow. What I like most about this screen recording software is how lightweight, easy to use, fast to run, and simple to figure out it is. However, for business use I would buy it to get all of the benefits. It also has a free version if you don't want to pay. It's lightweight so it doesn't slow your PC down, and there are a ton of file size reduction options so you don't have to deal with massive files, if you don't require ultra high quality. Great alternative to Screenflow or Camtasia for interview recording needs.īandicam Screen Recorder is far more fun to use for my client interview needs than Screenflow.
